Immediately catching my attention, this piece achieves a great impact without having to recurr to stunning visuals or bright colours.
Instead, it empathises its limited colour palette to create a ghastly, unsettling atmosphere. The symmetry of the composition and the colours immediately draws the eye to the bridge, the only element of the photo which appears to be solid and real.
Like the title says, "I am going there"; the travel is the significant part of this concept, while the destination is lost in a ghastly mist and blurred to the point it's barely recognizable. Whether you want to see this as a travel of discovery, from the certain into the unknown, or a path to fight and win your fears, this piece evokes deep thoughts and is an interesting sight other than a well deserved DD.
