The art's title, I am so lonely, really lays out the groundwork for a deeper meaning then just a lone tree on a hill. ateist-kleranty expands on the title in the description, reading "but I need no body". The two phrases contradict each other. The tree is lonely yet it doesn't need anyone? Perhaps it longs for one's company but realizes it doesn't need it to survive. Or perhaps the tree is having a mix of emotions. Maybe it longs for someone's presence, but enjoys the quiet of solitude. The artist's "commentary" really gets you thinking.
I love the color in the photo, or rather, the lack of color. I think it really fits with the title's theme. It creates a dark and gloomy atmosphere, and the clouds add to that. The tree itself presents the most color, but doesn't throw the balance of the art off.
The quality of the photo is great. It isn't muddy or blurry. The positioning of the piece is done very well. I love how the leaves on the ground shine and give the mossy colored grass; it makes it a little more interesting to look at. I also love how the tree is cast off to the side of the photo, almost as if rejected. Perhaps that's why it's lonely? It's a reject?
My complaint- the border. Yes, the border does fit the theme, I just feel it makes the photo a little cheesy. Often you'll see borders like that on sites or apps that allow for quick editing of photos. You know, where you click the effect you want and it applies it? Those apps and sites are great, but depending on what you do, you can cheese-ify your photo. I feel that the border makes the art a little cheesy. Just my opinion.
Overall, great job! I love the picture and it's story. Great work.
