This is a really beautiful photo, it's striking at first glance. The colors are great and along with the fog and lighting I can see a story behind this (whether there was originally or not!). It all ties together nicely creating an very unique composition. But as I continue to study it I'm finding that the white specks are drawing my attention too much and the black buoy in the center is keeping my attention rather than the boat. Personally I would go in and edit that out, i think it would add a lot to the composition and definitely strengthen the narrative aspect of this.
This photo goes deep into my mind, and it makes me think. I love how the colors blur and fade into each other, like the black trees and the grey ocean, and the grey white color of the sky. The boat really adds an effect, it makes it seem abandon, an abandon world of its own with its civilization on the boat trying to get back home. The reflection of the trees going into the lighter part of the ocean is sort of KAPLOOSH! A wonderful burst if darkness into light, makes the picture maintain its beauty but having something more creative and fun like in an old photo. I love the fog on each side, as this "world" is fading away and back together again. The beauty of it all, it makes it hard to deceive it with words. The fading colors create an excellent effect and make it pleasant to view. Simply brilliant photography.
